Sierra Mist Lemon-Lime

Sierra Mist

Smell: At first i got a kind of a grapefruit sent then the lemon peel kinda slid in the nose not much of the lime comes though.

Taste: Pretty much tastes just like Sprite or a more sweeter 7UP with the lemon and lime flavors a little more pronounced.

Overall: Really good if you like 7UP or Sprite you will also love this.

Rating: 9-10

Finally got another one up and will have a big surprise tasting that i have already done up here soon.

Ale-8-1

Special two taste day as I have missed a few been busy lately with trying to move back in to my house after our water heater leaked so hopefully have that finished by next week.

Smell:
Not much there ( Just LOL there the fizz tickled my nose there.) back on topic there is a woody smell maybe like oak.

Taste: Bland no real taste it also has the woody taste to it and kinda watered down.

Overall: This one of my all time favorite drinks kinda acts like a non alcoholic Cider/Champane with the bubbles and fizz you could at first trick someone into believing this is a Champane if it was poured in a Champane glass as it acts just like one.

Rating: 8 out of 10

Crush Orange

Smell:
Exactly like fresh orange zest the smell is really powerful it's really nice.

Taste: When it first hits your tongue the acidity is so great that it numbs your tongue then as it sits there after you drink it the orange flavor opens up like a flower and become very nice.

Final: Overall it's a really nice drink don't really like the numbing on first taste as it's really intense.

Rating: 7 out of 10

Vanilla Mint Listerine

Smell: The smell of this is definitely all about the mint aspect of it it really over powers everything now at the tail end as your pulling the glass away you get a hint of the vanilla coming though.

Flavor: The mint is of course the main flavor you get and it lasts for a long time though out most of the burn from the alcohol after the burn cools off you still have the mint taste there but then the vanilla finally makes the appearance its just a slight hint to it and now as this is a mouth wash as you blow out you really get the vanilla with a hint of the mint.

Final: Overall I like this mouth wash it dose have a little too intense burn unlike other wise stated on the bottle I can handle the burn pretty good now I know some may not if you don't like that burning then stay away from this one as it can be very overpowering at times.

Rating: 7 out of 10 Main reason is for the burn as that is a main factor people look at so i took that into consideration on the rating. As this is my first tasting this is how I'll be scoring non wine items they will be based on the 1-10 with 1 being awful tasting and 10 being jaw-dropping good.

Welcome To Wine Newb.

This will be my blog of the wines i have had and my own tasting notes to go along with them.

Now as I'm only 20 right now and where i live its illegal to drink untill your 21 it will be a slow start with 8 months and 23 days to go till i can. now until then i'll be training my palate and i may throw up a tasting of things i can drink like mouth wash or sodas things like that just to keep you entertained.

I would like everyone to leave a comment or email me at winenewb@gmail.com on a good wine to have on my 21st birthday with a price point no more than $50.00 or i'll get more than one if i get alot of recommendations of wines no more than $20.00 so lets hear some suggestions.

As i was writing i thought of some things i can taste so i'll be getting them up here in the next day or so.
